If you want to turn your creative dreams into a reality, you have to have confidence, and you have to believe without question that whatever you want to achieve is possible.  Often we don’t realize that the language we are using is actually causing us to lack confidence in ourselves. For example, you want to get your work into art galleries, so you share with your friends that you wish that might happen.  When you talk about it, you say “I will be so excited if I get into galleries”. There’s one word there that needs to be changed in order to confidently achieve your dreams, and that is the word “if”. What if you change the if in the sentence above to “when”?  So “I will be so excited when I get my art into galleries”. It’s no longer a question, it’s a thing that is going to happen. Just changing that one word implies that you have the confidence in yourself to believe that that thing WILL happen, it’s just a matter of time.  You’ve made a firm decision about what you want, and you’re pursuing it with confidence. Can you think of other examples of a time that you were not confident in your language?
